Words from the graduates
Throughout the process, there were times of uncertainty and doubt, but it was worth each early morning and late night of preparation. There were several instances where members of our department would question “why” I was doing the class or “what do you get” for completing the course - there were times when I began to ask myself those questions as well. I found all those answers during the week of class.

This class saved my career. I no longer take the victim mentality at the firehouse. I have vowed to myself to be a leader to those around me by challenging myself to be better. By leading by example. The class itself was truly amazing, but who I became in the prep work to get here is what was the most beneficial thing to me that I never saw coming.

All of the things I learned won't just apply to my career, but to my life as well. The goals were to be a better firefighter, to be at the top of my game, to train my shift and my department, and to change the operations of my department to better serve our citizens, but I also became a better father, husband, and contributor to society.
